It took me some days to recover from the surgery and my nose hurt for a day or two. The skin around my eyes was bruised for a week, but that quickly subsided. I did not have to keep the nose splint and the packing material for more than 5 days and the stitches were also removed after that. I was able to relieve the pain and the stuffiness in my nose with the help of cold compresses.
